Hello, it has been a while since I wrote a post. That does not mean we have not been working on our projects.   We all have been busy preparing our Project Vocational School For Afghan Widows.

On July 12, around 6 a.m., I was interviewed on a live local TV news.(WWNY CH. 7) Oh, boy live interview was a much different experience than a recording.  I enjoyed it very much, but my voice was so small… I thought the microphone picked it up, but it didn’t.  I must practice speaking louder.

However, I am very excited about it and would like to share with you all.

Another Great News!!!

Our story was reported on North Country Public Radio today!!!   Yeahhhh!!! =)

It has been several months since I wrote on our blog. =)  SFC Melvyn Lopez has been doing a great job posting updates for us.  Thanks, SFC Lopez!!!

Quick update:

1. Project Help Afghanistan is now an officially registered 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization, and all donations will be tax exempt.
2. We have nominated 4 board members for Project Help Afghanistan, and we will post their brief bios shortly.
3. We held board meetings almost in every two weeks for Project Vocational Schools for Afghan Widows.
4. Our first TV Interview(YNN, Ft. Drum, N.Y.) has been aired on May 17, 2010 at 6 pm News
5. We are planning to open our first Vocational School in August, 2010.
6. We need your help to spread the word for us and help out on fund-raising.
