Donating Combat Boots to Lal'Por Police Station Assistant Chief
Wow, the time flew by. It is already December, the end of the year. It was a wonderful year for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the deployment. It was an honor to serve the U.S. Army with our fellow warriors in Afghanistan. I met many great friends.
Late this morning, Assistant Police Chief Abdul Hanan from Lal’Por Police Station visited us. Unfortunately Dr. Rafi went on leave about an hour earlier, and Asad was on mission with his Platoon. I greeted Chief Hanan at the Entrance Control Point (ECP) and ground-guided his vehicle in to the base. We already had 3 boxes of combat boots prepared for them. A total of 22 pairs were donated to the Lal’Por Police Station.
Mr. Hanan came with one other police officer and was very appreciative for the donation.
